Without it, your treatment cream sits on a less prepared surface — with it, the cream works harder.

The "Pore Reducing" claim refers to a refined, smoother appearance with consistent use — not a permanent change in pore size (no topical product can permanently shrink pores). The combination of Vitamin C, Gardenia and the gentle astringent effect of the alcohol base helps the skin look more refined and even-toned over time.
