Sunscreen has a compliance problem. The formulas that protect best are often the ones acne-prone skin refuses to wear: heavy creams that sting in the heat, load oily skin with more oil, and leave a grey cast by noon. Protection only works if you actually apply it, every day, and reapply it. So this formula spends as much effort on being wearable as on being protective.
The filter system
Six modern organic UV filters split the spectrum, a setup the brand calls Double Shield. Dedicated UVB filters absorb the burning wavelengths, while a photostable UVA pair covers the deeper-penetrating rays responsible for dark spots and early aging. The result is SPF50+ with PA++++, the highest UVA rating on the scale. And because every filter works by absorbing light rather than reflecting it, there is no zinc oxide or titanium dioxide to sit chalky on skin: the essence dries 100% translucent on every skin tone.
The oil control
Butyl avocadate at a verified 2%: a plant-based ester derived from avocado oil through green chemistry. It helps balance sebum production and control excess oil through the day, which is precisely the job most sunscreens make harder. On acne-prone skin, that changes sunscreen from a trade-off into a routine step.
The cooling complex
Icescreen, a blend of bay leaf, eucalyptus, cacao and coffee bean extracts. The brand's thermal imaging shows skin surface temperature dropping after application. On a 45°C afternoon, sunscreen that cools on contact is sunscreen you reapply without being told twice. Niacinamide and panthenol (vitamin B5) ride along in supporting roles to keep the formula comfortable on reactive skin.
What's not in it
On acne-prone and sensitive skin, absences count. No oxybenzone, octinoxate, homosalate or 4-MBC: the older UV filters that most safety and reef debates center on. No alcohol, the usual trick for making sunscreen feel light. No fragrance, mineral oil, colorant, silicone or parabens, per the manufacturer's declared 10-free formula.

1. Shake well before use, then twist the cap open.
2. Press a suitable amount onto your palm (for the face, the length of two fingers is a good working dose).
3. Apply evenly to face and neck 15-30 minutes before sun exposure.
4. Reapply every 2-4 hours for sustained protection, and after swimming or heavy sweating.
5. Use it as the last step of your morning routine, after moisturizer and before makeup.
6. Caution: Sun protection products are one part of sun safety, not all of it. Stop using and seek medical treatment if any signs of abnormality appear.
