Makeup rarely comes off all at once. It thins hour by hour, wherever heat, oil, and touching get to it first, until the 8am version and the 5pm version are two different faces. A setting spray exists to slow that clock, and this one comes with a stopwatch reading to show it does.
THE FILM
The working ingredient is Polyester-5, a flexible film former at 3% of the formula. Spray it over finished makeup and the water flashes off, leaving a transparent, ultra-thin polymer layer that grips powder and pigment in place. The film also seals what sits underneath it: the mist carries glycerin and propanediol, light humectants that stay trapped under the layer instead of evaporating with the water.
THE 12-HOUR TEST
Twenty women wore full makeup for 12 hours with the spray applied to one half of the face only, and were measured by instrument, not by opinion. On the unsprayed side, makeup had faded measurably by hour 12. On the sprayed side, the reading was statistically unchanged from hour zero, and 90% of the volunteers showed a positive effect. That is the whole pitch in one number: the sprayed side didn't move.
THE MIST
Nearly nine-tenths of the bottle is water, delivered through a micro-fine, non-aerosol pump. Fine matters. Small droplets land as an even haze that dries in about a minute, while big droplets land as drops that streak the makeup you are trying to set. The same fineness is what makes midday re-spraying possible: a light pass over a worn face puts moisture back and revives the look without disturbing anything underneath.
✓ Ultra-thin polymer film locks makeup in place and stays invisible while doing it
✓ Tested for 12 hours on 20 women: instrument readings showed no measurable makeup fade on the sprayed side
✓ Micro-fine mist lands as an even haze, so it sets your makeup instead of streaking it
✓ Water-based formula with glycerin seals light moisture under the film for a fresh, not tight, finish
✓ Cool on contact, dry in about a minute, zero sticky after-feel
✓ Re-spray over makeup at midday to refresh the look without moving what's underneath
✓ Non-aerosol pump: the mist comes from the sprayer, not from propellant gas
✓ Paraben-free (preserved with phenoxyethanol)
1. Shake the bottle well. The formula is a milky emulsion, so the film ingredients and the water separate as it sits. Shaking remixes them into one even spray.
2. Finish your makeup first. This goes on last, over everything.
3. Close your eyes, hold the bottle 15-20 cm from your face, and mist 2-3 sprays evenly. Don't go closer than 15 cm: at short range the mist lands as drops, and drops streak makeup instead of setting it.
4. Let it dry for about a minute without touching your face. The film sets as the water evaporates.
5. Through the day, one light pass over makeup refreshes the look. No need to reapply anything underneath.
Caution: Avoid direct eye contact. Stop using and seek medical treatment if any signs of abnormality appear. Keep out of reach of children.
